CEO of FBP, Dan Grubb, talks about the cover and the design in the weeks leading up to the collection’s release:

Just a quick one to give you a little bit of history about this cover.

When I was a little boy my Grandmother gave me a yellowing and well thumbed copy of Ray Bradbury’s ‘Golden Apples of the Sun’ and that’s what sparked my love of science fiction in all its myriad forms.

Decades later and I still have the same copy.

Then this collection came about and I saw an opportunity to emulate the excellent style of the classic SF collections of old.

Working with the designer (Heather Murphy) and the artist (Alvaro Escudero), we decided that it needed to be up to date to reflect the wonderful stories inside while maintaining the classic beauty of the old school covers.

With a foreword by novelist, actor, screenwriter, comedian and TV presenter, Robert Llewellyn, the collection will feature two stories from WordWatchers John Hoggard, The House and All in the Mind.

Now available as an ebook from Amazon (UK): here with the paperback copy available after Easter 2016.
