PONG!

“McCormack’s rhymes are as engaging as those of Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo. PONG! is a must-read. A children’s classic in the making.”-The Press Association

Because of that slippery ice covered lake,

Jake saw the Pong and the Pong saw Jake.

Pong had four legs and a long trunk nose.

He had only 8 fingers but 100 toes.

He had a round tummy full of asteroid pies,

and was studying Jake with moon-sized eyes.

THE STORY: Pong is the biggest, fastest thing in the Universe. He loves to race, and always wins. At least that was the case, until he slips on Neptune's frozen lakes and comes face to face Jake. Can Jake outsmart Pong to win some magic Moon dust?

LINK LEARNING: PONG! is an ideal way to introduce a topic on Space and the planets. It features links to further information about planets, hands on activities, talking points, and review questions that test comprehension.

Pong! is currently available for the iPad.
